Style B-11 Vegetable Fiber Sheet

Style B-11 is a general purpose vegetable fiber sheet for flange gasketing where the maximum temperature does not exceed 250°F(120°C). It meets the requirements of HH-P-96F Type 1.

Services include oil, greases, water and light hydrocarbon liquids.

Standard Thickness are 1/64" (0,4 mm), 1/32" (0,8 mm), 1/16" (1,6 mm), 1/8" (3,2 mm). All thicknesses are supplied in rolls of 25 yards (22,8 m) X 36 inch (0,95 m) Width.

Style B-81 GreenshieldTM Aramid Fiber Nitrile Bound Gasket Sheet

INDUSTRIAL BrandTM GreenshieldTM Sheet Packing offers superior performance with the widest range of applications available in one gasket material. This nitrile rubber bound sheet gasketing, composed of chemically stable and heat resistant fibers provides outstanding creep resistance at high temperatures and high load to give maximum safety, torque retention and sealing characteristics. Chloride content below 100 ppm reduces flange corrosion which, when combined with the nonstick properties of this material, lowers maintenance and down-time.Greenshield Sheet Packing

Services INDUSTRIAL BrandTM GreenshieldTM Sheet Packing is intended for all general mill uses.

Applications GreenshieldTM is compatible with the following applications: Gases, water, steam, inorganic salt solutions, organic acids, alkalies, alaphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, oils, greases, heat transfer oil, and refrigerants.

This test was developed to assess the behavior of gaskets when subjects to surface stress in cold and hot conditions. In this test the load is maintained as the gasket relaxes and the temperature increases. This subjects the gaskets to more severe conditions than the ASTM F 38B test. Measurements are made of the decrease in thickness under a load of 3625 psi at a temperature of 73°F and the additional decrease in thickness caused by heating to 572°F under constant load.

Rubber Sheet Packings

We supply the highest quality rubber sheet packings in three standard materials. They are furnished in rolls of approximately 100 lbs. (45,4 Kg) each. (1/4" thickness is in 200 lb. (90,8 Kg) rolls).

STYLE 370 NEOPRENE SHEET Neoprene sheet is formulated for its high resistance to oils and solvents and may also be used on water and low pressure steam when a single material for these services is desired.

STYLES 1100 AND 1150 RED RUBBER

Style 1100 is a commercial grade red rubber with a cloth finish. It is intended for water or oil service to 250°F (120°C). Style 1100 is also available in 48" (1,21 m) width

.

Style 1150 is a premium quality smooth finish red rubber which provides extended service life when used as flanged joint gaskets or as pump gaskets in either water or oil services to 250°F (120°C).

STYLE 1170 EPDM SHEET

EPDM sheet is the ideal steam resistant material for manhole/handhole gaskets in heating boilers.

STYLE 1260 NEOPRENE DIAPHRAM SHEET

Style 1260 cloth inserted neoprene diaphram sheet is designed for general service in water, air, steam or oils. It is widely used in reducing and regulating valves. There is one ply of reinforcing cotton duck fabric for each 1/16" (1,6 mm) of thickness.

STYLE 1265 NYLON REINFORCED NEOPRENE DIAPHRAM SHEET

Style 1265 is constructed in the same manner as Style 1260 above with the substitution of high strength nylon cloth for the usual cotton duck. This provides a much higher strength material.

Style 1184

Style 1184 is 64 durometer black PVC gasket is particularly suited for use as gaskets and rupture disks on CIO2 stock towers in the pulp and paper industry. It is highly resistant to attack by either CIO2 or CI2 gasses between -5°F and 165°F (-20°C and 74°C).

Specifications (based upon 1/16" thickness) for Style 1184 are:

Standard sizes: 24" x 24" (61 CM x 61 CM) and 44" x 52" (1,3 M x 1,5 M) Standard thicknesses: 1/16" (1,6 mm), 1/8" (3,2 mm), & 1/4" (6,4 mm)

Style 5000 TFE Gasket Sheet

This chemically inert commercial grade sheet is ideal for use in gasketing large surfaces when extreme chemical resistance is required and loading will be maintained to counteract the creep inherent is solid TFE sheet. Suitable for all temperatures up to 500°F (260°C).

For standard sizes and thicknesses, see Style 5001, below.

Style 5001 TFE Gasket Sheet

Style 5001 TFE gasket sheet is made from Virgin TFE and is used where electrical insulating properties are required in addition to the inertness of TFE.

Standard sizes: 24" x 24" (61 cm x 61 cm) and 48" x 48" (1,2 m x 1,2 m) Standard thicknesses: 1/32" (0,8 mm), 1/16" (1,6 mm), 1/8" (3,2 mm), & 1/4" (6,4 mm)

Gaskets

Style 50 TFE Envelope Gaskets
(Formed Shield)
This design is used in larger gaskets (over 12" pipe size) to allow the sealing of flanged joints up to 30" pipe size and are made to size as specified by order.

Style 51 TFE Envelope Gaskets
(Slit Center)
Our slit center TFE envelope gaskets are designed to provide a reliable method to seal harsh chemicals where flanged connections are used. A gasket filler is used to overcome the tendency of TFE to cold flow by providing a constant "push" on the TFE envelope. Since the TFE envelope is exposed to the fluid sealed, the gasket filler within is protected.
These gaskets are preferred for sealing flanged joints in CIO2 towers and Chlorine lines in pulp and paper bleach plants and as well as other areas.
All sizes for 150 lb. flanges are standard up to 14" pipe diameter. To order specify flange size by inside and outside diameter. Style 51 TFE Envelope Gaskets

Style 53 TFE Envelope Gaskets
(Milled Center)
Milled center TFE envelope gaskets are used wherever flow resistance at flanges must be reduced. A gasket filler is used to overcome the tendency of TFE to "cold flow" by providing a constant "push" on the milled TFE envelope. Style 53 is available to order in all standard 150 lb. flange sizes up to 12". Style 53 TFE Envelope Gaskets

Style 52-S Synthetic Manhole/Handhole Gaskets

STYLE 52-S is die cut from a specially compounded steam resistant synthetic rubber sheet, it is the ideal replacement gasket for manholes, handholes and inspection ports on heating boilers, tanks and other vessels such as dryer rolls and steaming vessels in the pulp and paper industry where temperatures do not exceed 350°F (180°C). STYLE 52-S

All standard sizes are available and are 1/4" (6,4 mm) thick. To order Style 52-S:

  1. Supply Style Number
  2. Supply dimensions A x B x C where:
    A = long inside dimension
    B = short inside dimension
    C = gasket width
  3. Supply shape: - see right:
Not shown: Round (dimension A = B) STYLE 52-S
