All of our braided packings and most non-braided styles can be die molded into pre-sized and pre-packaged ring sets. Although our exclusive ANTI-KEYSTONE® Packing TechnologySM eliminates some of the reasons for using die molded ring sets, five major reasons for their use remain:
 - Eliminate Waste: Die Molded Ring Sets eliminate waste created when rings are mis-cut on-site. Die Molded Ring sets have exactly enough packing material to pack the pump.
- Speed Installation: Prepared ring sets reduce repacking time by eliminating cutting time normally experienced when bulk packing is used. In addition, die molded rings slide into the stuffing box with ease and seat reliably.
- Reduce Misapplication: Errors from the use of the wrong packing in the wrong application are reduced - especially through the use of our INDUSTRIAL Brand pre-labeling system. Once we are initially supplied with your stores code, equipment information, and the style, size, and number of rings in a set, you can reorder by your stores code. This saves you time in purchasing, receiving and storeroom administration.
- Reduce Inventory: Inventories are minimized through use of a common stores code covering many pieces of equipment with identical stuffing boxes and similar services.
- Track Costs: Die Molded Ring Sets become a spare part for the equipment they are used in. Improved tracking of equipment operating cost result from the use of our Die Molded Ring Set program.

All INDUSTRIAL BrandTM Die Molded Ring Sets are pre-labeled by style, size, number of rings, and stores codes (when supplied). In addition, all ring sets have skive (angled) joints whenever suitable for the style of packing to give the most reliable sealing possible.
Dies for all standard stuffing boxes are available, along with many "special" sizes common in the pulp and paper industry such as the 41/64" and 49/64" cross section dies required for Warren Thick Stock Pumps or the metric cross section for Ahlstrom Pumps or other non-standard equipment.
